Re: July 3-7 predictions Lets go Maxxxine! I know there is a limit to its potential, but X and Pearl combined for about $20M total. If Maxxine could beat that in her opening week it'd be the closest we get to a MoG performance for it. It will likely crash and burn next week as all the XCU fans will rush out, and Longlegs provides direct competition for fans of weird horror movies.
Dunno what to make of Despicable Me. I predicted huge numbers for it at the beginning of the summer, yet Inside Out 2 has been eating up all the buzz. Probably under the 5 day of DM2. Could even see it getting a disappointing opening day + 4th and making up for it through the weekend.
