I can partially believe their accusations from a couple specific episodes, but overall that's just dumb to say. Spongebob is NOT gay.

I guess the parents didn't want to go see this one as much as their kids did. I'm sure it will be big on DVD, though. HUGE...

To be honest, I think that it was the competition. People probably preferred The Incredibles over Spongebob.
Oh well, it's still a nice total.

Since Spongebob almost came out of the closet, maybe it will draw in more of the gay population to bring in an extra 20 million dollars

Well, the movie ended with $85,417,988. Decent total, but a disappointing multiplier.
Ragnarok and publicenemy#1 had the best original total gross predictions with $88 million each.
Zingaling wins the best revised prediction with $85.5 million.
Congrats, guys!

They are probably still going to film a sequel.

At the end of the movie game, they say this: (In the narrator voice)
"And about a sequel? Well, depends on the box office."
It did pretty well based on its budget, so I'd expect a sequel. It should almost as much as the first, because it got killed by the Incredibles and The Polar Express.
