As a fan: Iron Chic Screaming Females Tool (+Babymetal, The Used, Godsmack at Rock on the Rahge) Weezer (+The Pixies) Jimmy Eat World Taylor Swift (+Camila Cabello, I was late and missed XCX :-( ) Foo Fighters (the best) Work: Kid Rock (the worst) Pink Justin Timberlake Hall & Oates + Train Upcoming: Flaming Lips in August and Parquet Courts in December. Work has a bunch of shit I dont really wanna see like 22 Pilots and Panic at the Disco, but also Phil Collins and Elton John(who I’ve never seen) plus another Justin Timberlake. |

Going to Metallica tonight for the first time ever. \m/ Also for this year: Feb- Metric Mar- Ty Segall & White Fence Vince Staples May- Sonic Temple ft. System of a Down, Foos, Beartooth, Bring Me The Horizon, etc... June- Vampire Weekend Sept- Kacey Musgraves And maybe The Who. Those tickets are pricey though. I know everything is but atleast with the others I am paying big money to stand up front, not all the way in the back. |

System of a Down was so good live. Despite all the issues I had with the festival (weather issues and dropping the ticket prices to a dollar without bothering to address the people who paid full price), I think they’ve produced my two favorite live sets with this and Tool. Foo Fighters were also great, and we were all extremely grateful to see them after half the bands had to be cancelled on Sunday (including Bring Me The Horizon ). It was the same setlist that I saw them do last year though. So my second favorite act was Tom Morello, who was killing it on his own Before he brought Serj Tankien on stage to sing Like A Stone in tribute to Chris Cornell (who died the day before he was supposed to play this festival two years ago.) A really great moment that could really have only happened on that day. |
