These are not honourable mentions (I do have those but these eight are not it), they are just good songs that I like and I want to share, and they may or may not reflect my taste and/or what's on the forthcoming list (actually, they don't much at all). They were, unfortunately, not good enough for my Top 50, but they are still good songs that I like very much either because of nostalgia or otherwise. Considering how many great songs have been made, they probably wouldn't even get into a Top 200, but here I am anyway recommending them.

There are also loads of bands that I would have loved to add a track of, but couldn't fit into the Top 50. And I could have filled a Top 250 with songs of just ten artists. It's insane really.

Nice list so far. "Swallowed in the Sea" is one I haven't heard in awhile. There are a lot of nice, slightly forgotten songs on X&Y.
The Darkness are always fun. I believe they have a new album coming out this year.

They are. They must be blocked for you.
Blocked tracks still show up in listings, then when you click on them they say they are not available in your country or whatever. The tracks I would have included in my list were not on YouTube.

Almost everyone I speak to about UB40 has never heard of "King". It is such an underrated song. People are always expecting me to follow it with "-ston Town", and while that is also a great track (as is "Cherry Oh Baby" and others), it was always "King" that did it for me.
