The first few songs are solid (Rare is my fav) but then the rest of the album is just very generic and sound like they could have been made by anyone.

The Poppy album is dope though. Kudos to HHH for having them play Io Sharai to the ring on a recent NXT. Probably would have never known about them otherwise.

Also, wasn't Kesha supposed to release this week? When did that get pushed back?

The new Eminem album is pretty weak. Oh well, maybe the backlash to it will cause him to write Kamikaze 2.

Halsey’s album is quite good.

The 1975 got pushed back to April. :-(

Mau is gonna hate me but ... Kesha’s album is weak. Raising Hell is probably the best song and that wouldn’t even crack top 7 on Rainbow. The verses are all good but those hooks are :nerd: . Terrible production. And where are The Eagles of Death Metal?

In good news, Dua Lipa’s new song is good and that album is looking very promising.

Good In Goodbye by Madison Beer SLAPS on par with everything released so far. This year has been lit when it comes to pop music, making up for the dry 2019.

Carly, Taylor, Ariana, Eilish, Petras and Sheeran all released fire albums last year. Can't think of another year that goes six deep like that.

2010 is probably the closest with Robyn (Body Talk), Taylor (Speak Now) Perry (Teenage Dream) and Cee-Lo (whatever the Fuck You is called). Slightly better at the top, but drops off quick.

Out of those only Petras and Carly are what I'd call iconic albums. Billie, Taylor are hit or miss, Ariana has always been a singles artist and Ed... No

2008-2012 was the best. Only 2009 was weak.

2008: The Fame, Fearless, 19, E=MC2, One of the Boys
2009: It’s Not Me, It’s You, Lungs
2010: Animal, Speak Now, Teenage Dream, Body Talk, The Family Jewels
2011: 21, Born This Way, Ceremonials, Goodbye Lullabye, Stronger
2012: Red, Warrior, Born to Die, Kiss

Plus Rihanna was dropping some good singles even though I would never listen to her albums

I think 2010 is the best but 2011 and 2008 (if only cause The Fame and Fearless are 2 of my 3 favourites on this list along with Animal) and 2012 are close in my opinion

edit - I forgot One of the Boys is in 2008 too... maybe that's the best year then

I think the Grammys moving their deadline up to August 31 cleared the fall out and might even do the same going forward.

Well. Stupid Love is 100% like the leaked version over a month ago.
It's basically Born This way 2.0 production wise. I mean it's fine. Whatever deffo not in the vein of the rest of 2020 where everything had been A+.
