People like Katy Perry songs when they're catchy/good. The singles did not sound huge at all.

Katy got buried by "Bad Blood" and took way too long to recover. Can't just release a weak track like "Chained To The Rhythm" and expect people to still care.

Been listening to a lot of Hardwell recently. The relative new kid on the block in the trance scene. A bit poppy to be an all-time great, but some are very enjoyable.

You can try to belittle it by saying your hometown (which I assume is Split) but Ultra Europe is one of the biggest house festivals in Europe. Not a negative to be a regular there.

I was talking about Hardwell's music. As in I've heard it even live and meh. Being a regular at a certain festival franchise doesn't mean you're good. Means they have a mutually beneficial relationship - Ultra gets a performer to fill the schedule with, he gets a paycheck.

Buckethead is a rather niche artist, so it makes sense you would ask if people know him, but deadmau5? He's pretty mainstream for his genre.
