I guess it could be if that's the only 2016 album you listened to.

I need to listen to the Whitney album.

I did, and it is wonderful. Reminds me a lot of the Byrds and After the Gold Rush/Harvest-period Neil Young. They conjure a certain country-influenced, melancholy, nostalgic, lightly psychedelic California sound near perfectly.

Listened to this on the flight to Dallas. Great album.

I also listened to another great album on my flight over and back. The title or the name of the group had "Disco" in it, and it was in the "new releases" section, so it was a 2016 album. I want to think it was "....at the Disco" or something like that. I've had a browse of Amazon for similar titles but found nothing. The cover has flashes of red, purple and was darkish. If any knows...

Panic At The Disco most likely.

I thought it was them when I did my initial search, but it isn't.

The only other group with disco in the title I know is Simian Mobile Disco. And I only know them by the song Audacity of Huge. The cover of their 2016 album doesn't look like something red, purple or darkish, but some of their older covers might fit the bill.

I'm really glad you liked it. It is a wonderful album.

I'm glad you liked it. I'm also a bit honored you decided to quote me, not David.

I ignored it because it wasn't part of his top ten.

How do y'all listen to all these albums? Is it still possible to torrent albums? I guess I just stopped downloading music a couple years ago when I got a new computer / the website I used got shut down (kickass.to)

Kickass is still around. It is something like unblocked.kickass.to or whatever. But yeah, basically I don't listen to albums much but I can download if I wish to.

I use torrents/Spotify to check new music out. If I really like it then I buy the album to support the artists.

You can still torrent, but its better to just pay the $10 a month for Apple or Spotify. So much more conveinant.

Even if you pay for one service you still need occasional torrent here or there because of those goddamn exclusives -.-

I don't really listen to more than a handful of new albums a year but would put either The Tragically Hip - Man Machine Poem and Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool first, followed by Macklemore - This Unruly Mess I've Made and J Cole - 4 Your Eyez Only
