This week:
1. Ariana Grande “7 Rings” (up)
2. Post Malone and Swae Lee “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse)” (up)
3. Halsey “Without Me” (up)
4. Cardi B and Bruno Mars “Please Me” (down)
5. Post Malone “Wow.” (up)
6. Jonas Brothers “Sucker” (down)
7. Marshmello and Bastille "Happier" (up)
8. J. Cole “Middle Child” (up)
9. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper “Shallow” (down)
10. Travis Scott “Sicko Mode” (flat)

32 weeks for Sicko Mode. 33 looks likely as well. 34 and breaking the record is possible as long as there's no big debut this week.

Meek gets out of jail and is already preventing black men from making history. :grrr:

Bad Guy must be going #1, its streaming is huge

Post subject:  Re: Billboard chart discussion thread

Bad guy will be number 2 or 3. 7 Rings and Wow will stay ahead with no radio and little sales for bad guy.

Billy Ray Cyrus to have a #1 song in 2019?

His version has more sales, but the original is ahead on streaming. It will be close. More than 50% of points have to come with the remix in order for him to be credited.

Old Town Road #1. Zwackerm was right, bad guy only did #7 due to lack of radio

How can radio stations be so slow to pick up a song? They can't tell by billboard or streaming that a song like bad guy would do hot?

That's just not how pop radio works. It is for people seeking the familiar, not chasing a new adventure. Bad Guy will be on top around Julyish.

Old Town Road is gonna dominate for awhile, with its reign only being broken up by Taylor's new single debuting at #1 in a few weeks. Though she usually only gets the 1 week intially, and then returns to #1 when the full album drops.

Surprised that “Sanguine Paradise” didn’t make the top ten. It has been #2 on apple all week.

“Suge” by DaBaby has been doing very well too.

Old Town Road had the 2nd highest number of streams ever, behind only its performance from last week. ME! might not be able to take it down...

A little bit baffled as to why OTR has become such a streaming juggernaut but go off I guess.

The only way Me! Could hit number one is if the YouTube streams are enough and it gets 200k sales or more. Unlikely.

Wow. Ariana getting her first 2 #1s and Taylor missing with her lead. Just bad timing for Taylor. (And the song is pretty lackluster, at least LWYMMD was interesting)

She’s had better songs but it’s not any worse than Shake It Off. And it’s leagues better than every Reputation single save Delicate

1. Lil Nas X feat. Billy Ray Cyrus “Old Town Road” (flat)
2. Taylor Swift feat. Brendon Urie "Me!" (up)
3. Post Malone “Wow.” (down)
4. Jonas Brothers “Sucker” (up)

10. Khalid “Talk” (down)

Me! and Old Town Road will probably be number 1 and two for a while unless the Ed Sheeran Justin Bieber collab shakes things up.

I think Homicide by Logic and Eminem could debut at #2 but will certainly fall off quick.

Loving the continuing shakeups in the Top 10. Though OTR is going to block songs 3 straight weeks from the top. Kinda crazy it will block 4 of the biggest pop stars of the moment from number 1.
