This week:
1. Post Malone feat. 21 Savage "Rockstar (flat)
2. Camila Cabello feat. Young Thug “Havana” (flat)
3. Ed Sheeran “Perfect” (up)
4. Lil Pump "Gucci Gang" (down)
5. Imagine Dragons "Thunder" (down)
6. Sam Smith "Too Good at Goodbyes" (up)
7. Cardi B "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)" (down)
8. G-Eazy feat. A$AP Rocky and Cardi B “No Limit” (up
9. Maroon 5 feat. SZA "What Lovers Do (up)
10. Portugal the Man "Feel It Still" (down)

It now appears that rockstar will permanently block Havana, since the gap grew for the first time in weeks. Dang. Perfect could even pass it with the Beyonce remix.

I hope Dua Lipa's "New Rules" (currently at #15) makes the top 10 eventually. I love her.

Too bad rockstar will reclaim number 1 next week. Good for Halsey though.

What’s the record for longest time to the top 10? Because it took All I Want For Christmas 23 years!

It's probably another song that needed a re-release to get there, but in actual chart weeks I believe it's still Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" at 38 weeks.

Perfect is a great song to kick the year off with.

The Finesse remix should hit top 5 in its debut. Filthy should have a top 10 debut.

Cool that Havana beat rockstar. It wont hit number 1 though as I expect Finesse will.

Yay! In 2018 paid streams will be weighted more than free streams.

Camila has already fallen back behind The Greatest Showman soundtrack on ITunes. That’s gotta be disappointing unless The Greatest Showman really is just selling that well.

Oh and Havana is probably getting a boost from the album release, but if it doesn’t fall back behind Finesse it could hit number 1 next week given that Finesse will be number 1 this week.

This week:
1. Ed Sheeran “Perfect” (flat)
2. Camila Cabello feat. Young Thug “Havana” (flat)
3. Bruno Mars and Cardi B “Finesse (Remix)” (up)
4. Post Malone feat. 21 Savage "Rockstar” (down)
5. G-Eazy feat. A$AP Rocky and Cardi B “No Limit” (flat)

8. Sam Smith "Too Good at Goodbyes" (down)
9. Justin Timberlake “Filthy” (debut)
10. Migos, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B “MotorSport” (down)

Damn Beyonce is the only reason Perfect is number 1. And Andrea Bocelli. Luckily Havana should hopefully be number 1 next week with the album release.

Fucking finally.

This week:
1. Camila Cabello feat. Young Thug “Havana” (up)
2. Ed Sheeran “Perfect” (down)
3. Post Malone feat. 21 Savage "Rockstar” (up)
4. Bruno Mars and Cardi B “Finesse (Remix)” (down)

No idea if Perfect will retake number 1 next week. Possibly. Nice leaps for Halsey (first top 5) and Dua Lipa (first top 10).

New Rules was probably my favourite song of 2017, I love Dua Lipa. Good to see her in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.

This week:
1. Drake "God's Plan" (debut)
2. Ed Sheeran “Perfect” (flat)
3. Camila Cabello feat. Young Thug “Havana” (down)
4. Post Malone feat. 21 Savage "Rockstar” (down)
5. Bruno Mars and Cardi B “Finesse (Remix)” (down)
6. Halsey “Bad at Love” (down)
7. Drake "Diplomatic Immunity" (debut)
8. Dua Lipa “New Rules” (flat)
9. Imagine Dragons "Thunder" (down)
10. G-Eazy feat. A$AP Rocky and Cardi B “No Limit” (down)

Drake was very front loaded in terms of sales. Perfect could retake number 1 next week. But maybe his streaming will be strong enough to get a few weeks atop the charts.

Say Somethin' will debut in the top 20 possibly. And I see room for growth. This era of JT might not be a flop.

"Sometimes, the greatest way to say something is to say nothing at all" - Is JT trying to tell us he's on Woody Allen's side?

Nice for Timberlake to match his lead single.

I'm not complaining, but why does New Rules have so much radio airplay when it's nowhere near number 3 on either streaming or sales? Shouldn't radio airplay correspond to what's popular? New Rules isn't anywhere close to 3rd most popular song.

Never Be the Same is headed for at least top 20, most likely top 10. Wonder why Crying in the Club couldn’t even hit top 40.

I love it actually, I think Thunder is my favorite of theirs and I feel Imagine Dragons might be my favorite band at the moment.

It could possibly receive airplay across a relatively higher number of different radio stations? I'm not sure how total airplay is tallied, but if it extends beyond pop radio, and more so than a lot of other songs do, that could explain its overall strong airplay.
