If people were over it then it would drop. Streaming is where a lot of points come from now and Closer is #1 there. It's also #1 in sales. And on radio. So people are not over it.

I am yet to hear it. LOL.

Compared to how the top 10 has been lately Ed Sheeran is a relief...

Shape of You is deserving. Though I probably prefer Castle on the Hill.

Bad and Boujos was #1? Its a fine song but doesn't exactly scream crossover hit.

The streaming services have unbalanced the charts greatly in favor of hip hop.

Eh, it's a stunt placing helped by SB. It will wither and fall into oblivion in a week or two.

At least she has one TOP 10 hit this era. Otherwise she would hardly top the PI peak of #15. That would be embarrassing.

Tickets to her tour are selling surprisingly well.

I definitely wasn't expecting her to sell out Fenway.

WTF happened to Lady Gaga? None of her singles have achieved mainstream success since Applause.

Super Bowl effect. The fact they themselves didn't expect as good as sales as these is that they haven't left much room to add shows in between as they usually do. She will definitely do a second leg in Europe.

Eh, Million Reasons is pretty good and I wouldn't be surprised to see it hang around a while. The chorus is soaring.

You won't be surprised. It will drop like 15 spots on the new chart and just continue dropping. Bye bye!

Wonder how the Coldplay + Chainsmokers collaboration (cue the tears of Parachute/Rush of Blood-era fans) will fare on the charts.

It sounds exactly like a normal Coldplay song now. :hahaha: So I dunno, Sky Full of Stars hit the top ten once and then disappeared. And I don't think Adventure of the Lifetime did that amazing either.

I wonder if "Shape of You" can stay at #1 until Sheeran knocks himself out with "Galway Girl". We haven't seen a dominant year like that in awhile.

And I said that knowing Bon Appetit (which sounded catchy to me???) wasn't doing well, but not that it would debut at 76. Honestly though, time moves so fast that it's easy to forget this is a 32 year old who peaked 7 years ago. It's just too hard for pop stars to keep it up for more than a half decade, before the younger generation done passed you by. She has a lot more talent to fall back on but I'm going to be sad 5 years from now when Taylor Swift isn't cool anymore. Taylor Swift forever

On a related note the billboard chart is a sausage party. Hip hop is destroying female pop on the charts now that streaming has the chart made a more accurate, if depressing measure of what people listen to than what's radio friendly.

It was about time KPn starts struggling on the charts considering her tone deaf deliveries haven't really provided much decent music.
