Anyone a fan or know of her? I didn't know much about her until recently, but she's really impressed me. She started out on Broadway at a young age, and later become known through her youtube covers of popular songs and on the Nickelodeon show, Victorious.

She's eons better live than anyone of her generation, and has an incredible vocal range (E3-A6/E7) that is comfortably above any popular artist since Mariah Carey, who she sounds very much alike in many songs and is capable of reaching the same sixth and seventh octave notes.

Her debut single, "The Way", was a Top 10 hit this Summer.

The Way is cute. Not sure about her second single.

The Way would be a great song if it were slowed down a tad (think, like, Mariah 'Honey' tempo). It's too frenetic. Could also do without Mac Milly

I quite like her. She does have a surprisingly Mariah-esque voice.

I like The Way but she ANNOYS me to no end, oh my. I've seen her on the Nickelodeon shows that she is on and she is just unbearably annoying.

The only good thing about The Way is Mac!

her new album is eh. Aside from the singles I like One Last Time and Hands on Me.

I think she could solve the first problem by ditching the ponytail. The second will take time, although she may not be young and cute anymore by the time she figures it out.

Love Me Harder is excellent.

After watching a number of live-performances over the past year, it kinda sounds like she's already starting to lose her voice. She still has a better voice than most of her generation, and sounds better than them, too, but she's begun to have real pitch and tone issues. She has little stamina, and I feel like her voice is going to largely go to waste doing these dance pop songs (Problem, Break Free) that producers and her label are probably in control of.

Her voice type isn't suited to sing that these sort of dance pop songs that incorporate the high notes just because she can hit them, and many of them are sounding forced after she's already lost her energy with the dumb dance numbers throughout the performances. She's not able to breathe properly to produce the higher notes with a healthy technique and if it continues, then bye-bye voice (Christina Aquilera).

Still, she needs to stop dancing and get a hairdresser. Her voice is still nasally and annoying.

I love "Break Free"

Her brother being a fucking dickweed makes me dislike her.

I just heard about her a few days ago. Leaks can be good for careers!

I liked her album more than I thought I would. She's a solid singer when she isn't doing the weird Mariah high voice. Break Free, One Last Time, Be My Baby and Break Your Heart Right Back are the best tracks.

She makes some of the best mainstream pop music around. Her three albums are all very high quality and a fantastic mix of wonderfully melodic Top 40 R&B (she does Mariah better than Mariah ever did) and precision-engineered straightforward pop.

"Dangerous Woman" is great.

I heard her on the radio yesterday. Her voice is very recognizable now. I really liked this song and another one on her current record. I intend to buy this one.
