EDIT: I'm also kinda glad DWYW relatively bombed. They haven't learned anything from BTW era when they blew single releases. They rushed and jumped on singles based on first feedback. They repeated the same strategy with DWYW. That's not how you should release stuff.

That's why I said relatively. I never said it was a flop. It wasn't. But they made a mess out of a release again. This time it resulted in no video at all. Last time it resulted in the most embarrassing video of Gaga's career - The Edge of Glory. It was supposed to be epic, yet something went on behind the scenes and we got a rushed video of Gaga dancing on a soundstage. This time we got even a few pics from the video, it was supposed to have some kind of a torrent release way back the at beginning of December. It's February now and it seems like we will never even see the video unless it leaks.

It's actually amazing how similar the single release "strategy" from ARTPOP album has been to the BTW one. Considering that mess I thought they would've learned the lesson. This time it backfired a bit more and I'm glad for it. All the talk about big plans, big desires, epic things, art, culture, fashion... And all we got was Gaga being cray and playing Godess of Love on social sites. They just need to chill and make plans and stick to them. It's obvious she (or her label) want desperately hits. And you can't get those with rushing everything and just playing on first feedback from the general public. If you don't have enough confidence in the material you're going to release then obviously there a problem with material itself. And ARTPOP is very lacking to be honest. Personally they will be lucky to get a TOP 20 hit whatever they release as the third single. Nobody cares anymore.

DWUW would've gone #1 if released off The Fame. I think Gaga going weird cooled off a lot of her audience, it just was a delayed reaction
