Re: The Killers - Day & Age - ADF video, Live DVD Soon
Don't let me be misunderstood was played at Toronto with Wolfmother last week. I was there and enjoyed. Got some good video before being ejected by security until I locked my cam away.

You got ejected because of the camera?
Yes had to leave and lock up the camera in a locker and then came back. Missed about 2 and half songs. Just got back home a couple of days ago so will upload the footage i did get.

Liesse - have you seen the Live at Albert Hall dvd yet? What are your thoughts?
I thought it was great, it did a great job of capturing one of there shows. You could see it especially in Spaceman, that knocked that performance out of the park. The crew interviews were a lot of fun too.

I like it. Haven't even listened to their last album though.

Re: The Killers
I like Runaways. Though I'm a bit baffled by this single choice. It's probably one of their weakest singles ever. Not really comeback material IMHO. But I love everything they make so I'm fine. But they won't make any chart impact with this.

Re: The Killers
Yeah I like it but its not a good choice for first single (unless all the songs are like this or even less commercial). Certainly nowhere near as strong as Somebody Told Me or When You were young, or even dare I say it Human.

Re: The Killers
I like it more than Human too. I'd be happy with an album that is more Sam's Town than Day and Age. Ideally more Hot Fuss would be even better but that's wishful thinking.

Re: The Killers
The Killers are yet to make an album that's less than amazing. That being said Runaways is FUCKING HUGE. Ilove it so much now.

Battle Born is such an amazing album. Nothing stands out (in terms of single potential) but it flows pretty smooth throughout. Love it! Gosh... I love The Killers so much!

Re: The Killers
I really like it. It definitely don't have the "single-y" hook tracks that the last few albums did... But as an album it flows together really well.

Re: The Killers
As promised to Magnus in the Aussie Open Tennis thread - here are some pics from The Killers concert here in Melbourne last week. It was in a small venue which used to be a club I used to go to back in the late 90s and its the perfect place for gigs like this. It helped that we were front row.
I'd seen them live twice before - once in a big venue (Rod Laver arena - centre court for last week's tennis finals btw) and once in a Toronto ampithetere. Both great shows but this one was off the dial brilliant. The Killers are truly stunning live and possibly better live than recorded.
I was lukewarm about Battle Born but after hearing a bunch of songs from that album (sound so much better live) I havent stopped playing it.
Unfortunately the pics are from my iphone so nothing flash.
This first pic was from the opening song - Mr Brightside...
