No Tears Left To Cry is nice. Ariana is really talented and apparently took a lead role writing this album

Yawn at that top 4.
This week:
1. Childish Gambino "This is America" (flat)
2. Drake "Nice For What" (flat)
3. Drake "God's Plan" (flat)
4. Post Malone feat. Ty Dolla Sign "Psycho" (flat)
5. Bebe Rexha feat. Florida Georgia Line "Meant to Be" (flat)
6. Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey “The Middle” (flat)
7. Ariana Grande "No Tears Left to Cry" (up)
8. Blocboy JB feat. Drake "Look Alive" (down)
9. Camila Cabello “Never Be the Same” (down)
10. Ed Sheeran "Perfect" (down)

Nice For What will retake number 1 next week and probably for all eternity.

Ye has 7 of the top 8 songs on apple right now. Too bad he doesn’t do music videos or radio anymore, All Mine could have been a good #1 to break up the Drakefest.

Only 2 pop songs in the top 10! Has pop music ever been more dead?

Why would it? It’s not doing particularly well in sales or streaming. It’s probably gonna debut in the top 50, maybe.

It’s #2 on apple behind only XXXtentaction. And it really just sounds like something that will be #1 for a few weeks. Like Drake, it should get massive support from both pop and hip-hop fans.

It’s doing poorly on iTunes and Spotify.

That’s weird since it’s really great. I think Apeshit will rise up eventually. Boss is also a future hit.

Wasn't the Carters' album hurt by inaccessibility to a degree? It started as a Tidal exclusive. Then it came to the other streaming services, but only for paying customers. None of the songs are featured on Spotify's "THIS IS JAY-Z" or "THIS IS BEYONCE" playlists.

Although it is perhaps interesting to consider a dynamic where gargantuan media attention for the couple's endeavors (the feverish coverage of surprise releases, etc., etc.) slightly outpaces John Q. Public's interest in listening to their new product.

Could be true. Don’t recall B having any hits off Lemonade either.

Apeshit debuted #13. I still think it’ll eventually catch on and dominate late summer.

Beyonce still has strong sales and streaming, but pop radio refuses to play her.

Drake is gonna debut number 1 maybe again next week. It’s insane.

As long as Drake isn’t too strong, No Tears Left to Cry could hit number 1 when her album drops
