That one is pretty good, one of the few times I wished the sketch actually lasted longer.

It has nothing to do with covid, but my favorite "2 sided" sketch in recent years

I don't think I saw that one at the time.

It's excellent indeed.

From https://fortune.com/2022/03/07/fourth-c ... tein-mrna/
Quote:
As of March 6, 76.5% of the U.S. population had received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while 65.1% were fully vaccinated, according to the Mayo Clinic’s vaccination tracker.

If above numbers are correct, this means 15% of people who did get the first shot decided not to get further shots to be considered fully vaccinated. That is a surprising high percentage to me.

I had stayed out of this thread for the last few months, but decided to comment in here again after seeing the above statistic, I am part of the 15%. I took my first Pfizer shot in November for work mandate, which ended up being the biggest regret of my entire life, and I wish I was strong enough to choose to get fired instead. My situation has been bad enough for my doctor to write me a medical exemption from taking further shots.

I may or may not share more details in the future, as talking about it has sometimes triggered certain physical symptoms that make me feel worse, and generally I fell better when I can pretend to be normal and healthy than talking about stuff, Though rather than getting better after so many months, I’ve hit a new low in the last couple of days, though there are still more medical appointments and checkups to come.

I will share that most likely the needle got injected into my blood rather than muscle, as there was blood when they took the needle out of my shoulder, and in first few minutes I physically felt immediate strong blood flow throughout my entire body, and also had strong heart palpitations that subsided after. I was very calm during this and even with worsening symptoms didn’t realize I needed medical attention until a week later,

I’ve since read the risk of improper needle injection could have easily been mitigated if I got the shot in my thigh instead of shoulder, like my toddler’s various childhood vaccine shots have been applied to his thigh without issues (also aspiration). Today is my son’s second birthday and i hope that sharing a little bit about this here now will help get this off my mind, so later I will be able to be in the moment and enjoy to celebrate with him without issues,

Sorry to hear that Alex, I am glad that I never had a work mandate as I would have been tempted to take it

It seems to have cured me, of long Covid, or maybe the five different variants I seemed to have had from the multiple times I was probably infected. Idk, I tested negative in Nov 2020 when I had a really bad cough, so who knows what it was. It started right after the garbage truck driver tried to assassinate me Oct 6 2020; it’s difficult to explain how that could be related besides a psychological effect. So, I don’t know what to say.

I was stuffed up for a few weeks after recovering, but a month later it's now a non-factor.

I noticed some people at work l had never seen without a mask look worse after they stopped wearing it. The west should embrace face veils.

My wife got COVID and kicked her ass. Weeks later and she is still having some breathing problems. Thank goodness for the vaccine. It saved her life

I just tested positive for COVID, in the Netherlands, on Thursday. And I've gotten pretty beat up about it, I've not gotten terribly sick that I've been bed bound or something, but a nasty cold seems to describe it best for me. It kind of started bothering me on Tuesday at first I think, though a self test on Wednesday was negative. And I just have all the kinds of cold symptoms I think, sore throat, cough, stuffy nose, sneezing, headache, higher temps. Today I kind of feel somewhat better than previous days, but nose still somewhat blocked and just not access to full breathing yet. I assume it's Omicron but don't really know, just did a self test only. I got the Chinese Sinovac vaccine, with my first shot last year, and the booster this January. Perhaps the vaccine may help with harsher earlier variants, because considering what I've read about Omicron symptoms I don't feel the vaccine is alleviating any of them for me.

When I first got covid I felt a similar sensation through my body as the first shot of Pfizer so that kinda made me feel like the vaccine did help. I felt pretty ok in less than a week but I've had a residual cough that's not bad now, hopefully it goes away soon..

My mom was also saved because of the vaccine.

I was sick like 3 times between beginning of September and end of November. Hopefully I’m done for the season knock on wood.

I feel like I've been sick for over a month. Every time I think I'm over it I'll just randomly start coughing at the most inopportune times.

I can't believe it's been FOUR years since covid.

It is crazy how much time has passed. I can't believe it's been five years (likely will end up being six) of having a normal movie year. Thanos feels like a 2 years ago thing, not 5!

It's the Thanos snap that did it. 5 years gone.

Screw that, despite the craziness, there was a lot to gain from these years
