Steve Jobs hated the stylus so things must have gotten bad over there if they felt the need to introduce this.
The iPhone X was an unforced error by Apple. The sales reflect this. People got confused and weren’t sure what phone to buy. And just that little hesitation leads to thoughts like “hmm instead of spending $1000 on a phone I could get this 2016 ___ for $200”. Even if they get back on track this year with the 9 there will still be the issue of the 9s being better than the 10s.
