Steve Irwin, dead animal guy
Was he as big in Australia as he was in the UK? or indeed the ROW? or was he seen as a bit of a moron? He was quite respected in the UK, in a zany sort of way where you just applaud his braveness.

Sam Simmons, Aussie joker
Is he funny to you Aussies? or is he one of those purely export comedians that nobody in Australia has heard of before?

Checked his Wikipedia page and the only place i'd even have heard his voice would be as Mr. Wallaby on Peppa Pig :lol:

Steve Irwin was quite well known and his death was worldwide news.
