I always find the food secondary. But my favorite is Pearl Onions in cream sauce. We had a great meal, watched some pretty good football games. For me it's always just seeing family that you don't see for a while and getting a dynamic you don't see usually outside of Weddings and unfortunately funerals. I know this may sound cheesy but it is really nice that there is some kind of holiday that forces family to get together. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! |

We "celebrated" Thanksgiving yesterday at work. We had a cooking competition. Everyone brought dishes in and we sampled them. It was nice. Our team forked out for a turkey. It was the most impressive in terms of appearance, and we even won the innovation award for it! lol. Never celebrated Thanksgiving before. Don't intend to ever again because it's not my tradition to do so, but I did have a lot of fun with the cooking competition. I had more fun in one day at this new job than I had in 3 years at my previous job. |
