Algren's new year's resolution was to stop trolling. This resolution doesn't prevent him from writing constructive posts, but as you can see from his 2018 output, he hasn't been able to think one of those up yet. (BTW, Algren is definitely the one who grades every movie an *F* in the polls - every review thread since he's been gone hasn't received the perennial *F* grade he started adding about a year ago, because he got in a snit about me using the poll results to bolster some of my arguments.) |

Maybe he did, but I don't remember Chippy admitting he's leaving because of Algren...he complained about him, and his absence could be seen as some form of protest to Algren. Still I think Chippy left for his own reasons and I don't expect him to just come back and resume his Chippy-ways if Algren stayed absent. |

Chippy posted a few times last night for the first time since September, although it was release date and box office prediction posts. Dr. Lecter was already semi-back. Libs should never come back tbh, I am a poster at her other forum and it's obvious she is happier and free with people who are more like her, and is even posting reviews that sound like they come from a real person and not a computer I am sure stuffp would tell us if something serious happened to Algren |

Lecter's mouth is big enough to eat a human, so that was the most likely of the above theories. But sorry to tell you all that it was nothing more than just not finding anything interesting to comment on (then I went on a business trip to Garbage, Nevada). I see Chippy is slowly coming back. He is definitely aware of his own pride, but his desire to post again is overflowing. There is certainly an inner battle there, which was all brought about by his own idiocy and need to create drama in his life. |
