The video gets it half right but doesn't point the finger at the government or Obamacare enough. If people are forced to get insurance, the insurance companies can charge whatever they want. If it was a more private system the patient could choose an insurance company that charges them the right prices, but since they're paying through the government and then the government pays the insurance company, the insurance company or hospital doesn't lose when they raise prices too high. As is the case with the housing crash, capitalism is an easy scapegoat for a failure caused by the government messing with capitalism. People are greedy and will rip you off but it only works when the government helps them do it such as in the case of the housing crisis where they gave banks loans at 0% interest rates, and then later bailing them out
