You mean in this thread which has diluted into a discussion on the definition of war? Or with Trump being unhinged...again...?

We're almost in Jerry Springer territory. We now have a porn star taking a polygraph test about having "unprotected vaginal intercourse" to prove her claims. I really don't know if this is amusing or sad.

I want to take a solemn moment to congratulate the US president on his congratulations to Putin's perpetual re-election. He won it, fair and square.

I was thinking about George W. Bush this morning. In hindsight, he actually seems like a decent president now. At the time, he was the biggest joke on the planet.

I hope the report of him ignoring the "DO NOT CONGRATULATE PUTIN" note from his security advisers is true. It'd have to rank among the most ridiculous things he's done given his situation with Russia.

I'm being investigated by Mueller with possible collusion with Russia, so I'm gonna call and congratulate Putin on his election AND say I'm going to meet him soon... This man is something.

Hard to forget how his administration cooked up the case for the invasion of Iraq and the instillation of fear politics.

Certainly the Bush foreign policy has had the most profound global effect of any of the past few US presidents

Short of a verbal confession, will his fan base ever doubt him?

When Nixon was President, I said "At least we can't get any worse." Then Reagan was elected and I said, "At least now it can't get worse." Then Bush Jr. was elected and I said "This is the worst President ever." Then Trump was elected. Now I'm not going to say anything; I may be jinxing the country.

Or maybe you simply exaggerate constantly and then the wolf finally comes but nobody believes you based on your harping.

I guess not many have heard about these changes in US weapon sales policies.

Trump admin un-blocks arms sales to Saudi Arabia (the country that is leading the bombing campaign in Yemen), Bahrain and Nigeria.
Trump admin to resume Saudi arms sale
Trump admin drops human rights conditions to sell fighter jets to Bahrain

Trump admin relaxes rules and eliminates congressional oversight on some arms sales, calls on Pentagon and diplomats to play a more active role in pitching arms exports.
Trump to unleash more global arms sales
Trump to call on Pentagon, diplomats to play bigger arms sales role

Some major shifts regarding arms sales and mid-east involvement. Don't say there is no difference between Trump and Obama.

I do not see anything wrong with those two things. The US is in a lot of debt. Little policy tweaks like this is a start to getting down the deficit. Wars in other countries are really none of America's business, but they should be able to profit from it. As long as they don't invade, I see no problem. If the Saudis aren't buying from the Yanks, they'll buy from elsewhere.

I hope you are not this naive. The US chooses sides in the conflicts and with whom to supply weapons. For one, Saudi in Yemeni civil war is backed by the US. It is not an open private market. Much of these weapon sales is state-driven. This is big government at work.

And we are talking about weapon proliferation in the world's trouble spots. Destruction of lives, homes and infrastructure creates instability and sows the seeds of extremism and terrorism. These weapons could fall into the hands of IS or other extremists. And prolonged wars keep countries broke and hurt global capitalism.

Again, I don't see anything wrong with what you're saying. So what if more terrorism happens? As long as it's the US that's getting attacked, all good!

Yeah, seriously. Melania Trump, unless she has always known and has always been fine with everything (not all relationships revolve around being in love, of course), is certainly in an unfortunate position.

Let's see is this Stormy Daniels DVD is authentic now... No one wants to see Trump penis.

This is your "local" "news" brought to you by the Sinclair national headquarter. To ensure national homogeneity, we at the headquarter carefully pre-select "news" items so every "newscast" across the country runs the same segment, reads the same script, and carries the same bias. Here is your daily essential terrorism alert...

Thanks to Trump, we are now in a trade war. I hope his supporters thank him when prices go up on cars, computers, tvs, and other goods that are mostly made in China.
