I enjoyed him in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (the original Swedish version) and John Wick. Unfortunate loss.

Film critic Barry Norman dies at 83.

I really did not grow up with Norman, so I am indifferent to his passing, but Film... was an important show, and he hosted it for 26 years from 1972 to 1998. When it came back with Jonathan Ross in 1999, I watched every episode. Since 2010 it has been shit.

Stan Lee's wife has kicked the bucket. She was 93. Can't imagine he'll be around for much longer.

Had two major deaths today, George Romero the father of the zombie genre and Martin Landau. Both are movie icons and are sad to see them go.

Chester Bennington, frontman of Linkin Park, committed suicide this morning. The band released their seventh studio album just this past May. He was 41.

Whaaaat? I haven't listened to Linkin Park since I was in high school, but that's very sad to hear.

Whoa! I enjoyed Linkin Park's career and he was a memorable singer. I guess in retrospect his entire career was expressing the pain that led him to do this. RIP

Wtf!! Can't believe it. Probably my favorite band in high school and the new album was good too.

Never heard of her, so searched her and found out that she has won FIFTEEN lifetime achievement awards at various events and festivals. Never seen one of her films apart from her cameo in Love Actually, and I do not remember her in it.

It's because her heyday were the 50s and 60s, and although she did some international productions, she mainly stayed in France. Like with Catherine Deneuve, once the 70s and 80s arrived, her work became less prominent although she sometimes still worked with directors well liked by european critics like Joseph Losey, Rainer Werner Fassbinder or Wim Wenders.

Don't know if you will like it, but I suggest the 1964 film THE TRAIN by John Frankenheimer. Not because she is in it, Burt Lancaster is really the star, but because I think it's a great movie. As usual, FX or certain photographic effects show their age, but if you can see past that, I think you may enjoy the movie.
Take a look at the IMDB page and decide if it's worth your time.

One of those reliable actors that you can never recall a film of but know they are quality. Had to look up his films.
