As far as hobbies go, I don't see why box office tracking is any more slight than something like fantasy football. There's also something to be said for an ability to gauge market interest and consistently demonstrate predicting prowess. It is also only natural to root for films you enjoy (artistically) and would like to see succeed (commercially). I don't think this is mutually exclusive with an approach that appreciates films as artistic endeavors first and foremost. |

I can't find the clip now, but Awardswatch forum has their tv awards AWEmmys and Aya Cash won for You're the Worst last year, then she said in an interview that at least they won something in an AWEmmy. I thought that was funny |

I read it three times. What the fuck is he talking about? Does he just rant for a paragraph on 3 topics and then put projections. That article is so incohesive without a any kind of resolution. As far as KJ goes, he is clearly talking about Zwackwerm, I haven't heard anyone else talk about killing themselves over a films success in a years, maybe not since BOM forum days. And I'd put at least 10 of us actually "treating it as a business" against this asshole anyway. Fire and Ice, that is journalism gold right there. Clayton Dillard, could this be Dil? |
