Not sure there any major clarifications needed this year. I could come up with a few (does The Handmaiden have three leads [two female, one male]? are both men in Swiss Army Man lead or just Paul Dano?), but they are definitely on the periphery.

I'd consider Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe both leads in Swiss Army Man.

There is definitely the case of Viola Davis and Fences and I say she is Lead.

Also, Eye in the Sky - I'd say Helen Mirren is Lead as well.

I can see the argument either way for Viola Davis, tbh. Unlike the Vikander/Mara combo from last year, Viola can at least have an argument for supporting since she's off screen for decent stretches of time.
