Because he's got a good range overall (him catching my attention in Hell or High Water helped) and unlike M. B. Jordan, he's actually got a little more of my look that it could be passable. |

Hmm, I honestly wouldn't care as long as the material was played right. It's been a while since I've been said I look like anyone really famous. Jim Carrey in Bruce Almighty is probably the last one that I heard (but not 2004, someone recently said that, lot a film buffs where I work, I didn't really see it, more about the hair, and my physical-ness) Different question? Would you want a Forrest Gump type film? Or a just a part of your life do you think would be interesting enough for a film so far? I can think of a couple of really good films where I'd be a great supporting role, and maybe a few starring (with many creative liberties taken) I'm still too young to look at a life film about myself, let alone who played me. Though I'm not sure I would even want a movie about my life. I'd rather pick from it for interesting parts for a screenplay. Hurricane Irene is the current one I'm working on, and local news response (based on my own.) |

Romance about how me and my wife met and grew together, moved to China etc. Just the fact that we are of different nationalities and we had a long-distance relationship/marriage for a few years would be enough for the Nicolas Sparks crowd. Our Story (which would probably be the name of the film) would be good for at least $45m as it is opening on Valentine's Weekend. |

That sounds nice, and definitely interesting given the current climate. Would you go for more comedy or drama, or make it a mix? Also from what you do say it sounds it at least could have a "happy ending" kind of scene. Edit, I'm speaking to Algren of course. We all know Zwacks is a horror film |

You got two fish out of water stories right there, but because you are male, it works better with a Chinese lead actor, for box-office reasons of course |

I'd want to keep it English male, Chinese female just for guidance purposes. I wouldn't know how to give advice to a female playing my role. And it would be romantic drama very much like The Notebook but with a lot less actual drama (more just petty drama, barriers to overcome, and culture differences). |
