I don't see it as the "drive for equality". We already have equality under the law. All of the racism and sexism that exists now is a result of individual situations, not some mass conspiracy to keep women and POC out of power.

And my privilege is not based on the color of my skin. It's based on the fact that my parents were wealthy and purchased a house in a good neighborhood where there is no need to have a police state because of all the rampant crime that happens in urban areas where a lot of POC live. POC don't have to worry about police brutality where I live (and yes, there is a substantial amount of diversity where I live before you say "but your community is all white."
