I agree with people should be free to cut their penis off. I'm also respectful of what people want to be called. I'm not obligated to agree with them in my head or date them if I don't want to.

I just don't understand why someone would sacrifice a working set of genitalia for a cosmetic set. I feel like a lot of the violence against transgender women are by the men they try to get with after they find out they are trans. If I found out the woman I was dating was a trans, I wouldn't be violent of course, but I would be extremely upset and never want to see the person again.

I want to reproduce. I would not enter a relationship knowing that could not happen. If I were to marry a girl and then find out she was infertile not by her own choice, that would be different and I would never leave her. But men who cut their penis off don't cut it for me as women. I'm not obligated to date anyone, I can reject anyone for any reason, just as anyone can reject me for any reason.

I have extremely strong paternal instincts. Sometimes I think about how a baby would bring me so much joy, even though I know I'm in no position to care for it. Just the thought of something dependent on me to survive gives me a sense of purpose and of being loved.

I dont want to purposefully separate a child from its biological mother so I don't find surrogacy or sperm donors appealing unless the woman could hold me and my wife's own embryo.

I would be fine with adopting children but

1. I want at least one kid biologically related to me to carry me into the future
2. It's increasingly hard to get a baby. Adoption is not a popular enough option to ensure everyone who wants a child gets one. Leaving it up to chance would be scary

Your friends told you a harsh truth or kept the truth from you to spare your feelings?

I'd very much pick the first one. I'd rather know someone hated me and why so I could change rather than them wanting to spare my feelings, because then I'd never make progress, with them or with anyone.

And do you think you would tell someone a harsh truth? Or are you afraid of looking mean?

I would rather them not tell me, I am too fragile and insecure. But I have no friends.

I would've liked that my friend's told me my previous marriage wasn't going to work. But it was a lot of after the fact stuff. Could've saved me a lot of time.

I'd prefer the truth. And I hope I'd do the same.

I'd like a harsh truth if it's necessary. If it's a truth that doesn't do anything else except show you're an asshole then I don't want to hear it.
