I did take 12 years of Keyboard/E-Piano/Electric Organ lessons.

Still have a Keyboard. Didnt play in ages tough.

Violin, haven't played it in years though, had lots of fun was never tops, usually ended up the lead of the 2nds.

I was second string violin in school orchestra from 4th to 9th grade. It was Beatlemania in '64, but the public schools didn't teach guitar. So I signed on for beginner drum lessons for six months, then violin. Say, have you ever lost your place during an orchestral performance and had to resort to "air bowing" a violin until you could recover the correct part of the score? Thank God I wasn't a Soloist!

But I have always fooled around with pianos and keyboards and computer synths, and I definitely have a gift of creating music ever since I was the age of two in 1956. Do-Re-Mi and La-De-Da.
You can try strumming G-Dm-C-G-Em-F(half notes)-C(Whole Note; all in 4/4 and a slow-Moderato) if it helps. :)

EDIT: I think I like dotted quarter note-tied quarter note+dotted quarter note better.
