I see the following words printed on a dvd box under the heading "Sous-titres": Line 1: Francais partiels Line 2: Anglais What does it mean? Does the movie contain English subtitles? |

Seems so. What I don't understand is why the French ones are listed as incomplete, but as I'm not a native French speaker you should better wait until one shows up and 100% confirms it. |

Yes, it contains English subtitles. It also contains partial French subtitles, presumably because some of the film is actually in French and therefore there's no need for full French subtitles. What film is it? |

The film is "Russian Dolls". It is mostly a French movie but contains characters who speak other languages. I was trying to find an inexpensive DVD edition of the movie with English subtitles. The one I came across was probably from France or Quebec. Thank you both for the help. |
