Post subject:  Gonna attempt something epic tomorrow
I am not a big "birthday"-person. I do not feel special on my birthday and do not care that much for presents or whatever.

However I do love partying and my birthdays give a perfect excuse to gather all of my friends for a huge party. The last two years I celebrated with around 70 people in a bar that I rented for the night. I am gonna do it again for my 30th (fuck) next year, but inbetween I thought I'd use the opportunity to attempt something I have always wanted to do, but never done before - a huge pub crawl in Cologne. The World's End-style, but without aliens, Pierce Brosnan and (unfortunately) Rosamund Pike.

The basics:

42 people
19 bars (covering the biggest party street of the city)
At least one drink in each bar is a requierement

Sounds kinda crazy/overambitious, so we'll see how it works. :D

PS: Algren, spare me the "alcohol sucks"-speech. ;)

Sounds like a fun time. Should try a different drink at each location. Thinking about it now, this could get somewhat expensive.

We made 12 bars (and I was basically dragged by two friends into the 12th), but holy fuck, this was an epic night and I am not hungover today (which is a fucking miracle), so double win!

I have never gotten so many post-party texts and messages as after this one. It had everything, booze, cigars, weed, drama, drunken hook-ups (between two of my friends who are not single), thus more drama, getting thrown out of a bar and barkeepers celebrating with us at another bar.
