Real talk: Go out and be a bachelor but still go slow with this girl. It may be that you're primarily feeling this way cause she's just the first one since the ex that you've had feelings for. Or it maybe that she is special. Try to go and meet other people and see if it's really her or if you still get feelings for other people.

Chippy's right I am totally in the friendzone right now. But I'm going out of my way to make that the case probably more than she is - I.e. Consistently referring to her as a friend, and talking about her eventually finding the right guy etc. To not be that way seems pretty foolish as neither of us would be ready for anything else than that.

But here's more context. She has explicitly told me she feels lucky to know me, that 'what we have together is so massive she doesn't know what it is yet', that we have extreme chemistry, that I'm the most handsome guy at work, that she sometimes wonders if my 'handsomeness' draws her to me along with my personality, that she always wants to be around me, and that she's never met anyone who's understood her as quickly as I have.

So yeah we're friendzoned. But this shit is fucking confusing as it kinda suggests there's an elephant in the room - that when we're ready we'll hook up - but as much as I overthink it, I can't get any confidence on that being the case.

Surely that shit suggests more than friendship??
