So yeah we're friendzoned. But this shit is fucking confusing as it kinda suggests there's an elephant in the room - that when we're ready we'll hook up - but as much as I overthink it, I can't get any confidence on that being the case.
Surely that shit suggests more than friendship??
I think Magnus nailed it. I need to keep bachelor life going. Speaking as a woman... Her comments and behavior towards you DOES NOT indicate you are friendzoned to me. Seems like she wants to make something happen like you do but is afraid to make a move. I guess it depends what you're looking for with this girl. Not a quick hookup or FWB situation, right? Honestly I would ask her out for drinks and see what happens. Life is too damn short to wait around, you have to reach out for the things you want and grab them. My current (pretty serious) boyfriend was a platonic friend of mine for almost a year before we started dating. I had never really thought of him as anything more than that, but when he told me that he had feelings for me, I agreed to go out with him in that context and ended up falling pretty quickly.
