You know what I mean..  ..shit like that^. I am fed up with mottos like this. Facebook is utterly littered with them. But do any of you have one that you ACTUALLY live by? and not just one that you read on Facebook and think is cute or "so true, lol".. |

Probably something like "Be yourself, trust yourself, because you can't be someone else, and you can't trust anybody else". Then there are loads of others that I follow like "Nobody has a right to anything" and "Everything is earned". But I'm interested to hear other people's. |

When conversing with some people on WOKJ (such as Thegoon, Grincho, _autism), I try (though not always successfully) to live by George Carlin's famous quote: “Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.”

The famous monologue from Rocky Balboa is starting to get on my tits. Not when I watch the film. But every time anyone quotes it online. It's as if they think they are the first one to have ever picked up on what a great quote it is. |

Nice topic actually, I have a few in a way, which I think are related too. One is quite well known: "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" One is short: "You're in it, to win it" One I used first: "The more you sweat, the less you bleed" |
