For a convention for work, was supposed to be gone until Friday, but Thursday night there was an explosion at the hotel I was staying at(also the site of most of the convention activities) so I'm back early. Did anyone see any news stories about it? I still never got the full story on what caused it. Imagine that, considering I was there when it happened.

What I find hilarious about the whole situation is that we were there for a convention that involves companies that do restoration work to fire water mold and wind damaged structures. Also, they had the same annual convention scheduled to be there 2 years ago when the hotel got flooded and it got cancelled. Clearly that is not the place to have this convention. I was literrally thinking, before we knew when the alarms were going off that maybe one of the companies there were really desperate for work and decided to break a sprinkler head to give themselves some work.
