Secondly, I believe that there is no difference between a cat and a dog, or a cow and a chicken. If you're going to allow the senseless slaughter of one, why ban the other because some faux animal right's activists that only care about animals when they perceive them as "companions" are up in arms about it? I say if you're going to ban one form of animal slaughter, ban them all. Don't draw the line at ones you perceive to be more important. |

I'd say it's more short-sighted than racist (the guy who's pushing the bill is Asian after all). Kind of like "well, I don't eat cats and dogs, so I don't see why anyone else would" attitude. Still stupid, though. |
