I've read an article to a link Maverikk Posted over at "The Awards Forum" over the topic of Clint Eastwood's "MILLION DOLLAR BABY" and I've read this so called "SHOCKING TWIST" That will supposedly blow you away and all I have to say is 2 Words: CHRISTOPHER REEVE... That's right.. CHRISTOPHER REEVE and ask yourself whether you would want to remain like this in this state for the rest of your life, unable to move, unable to feel, unable to do anything and why shouldn't a person have the right to move on into the Afterlife where there is no pain, no suffering, nothing but Bliss and happiness instead of in this world, this Realm, where your fucking miserable for the rest of your life being a vegetable??? :-k As a matter of fact, When Reeve had that Horse Riding accident, the Doctors should've let him go instead of turning him into the Equivalence of Commander Pike from "STAR TREK" where he was nothing more than a talking head with no feeling.. Fuck these protestors and all there whining about what's right and whatnot over this movie and it's controversial subject.. Fuck them and the horse they rode in on.. There not in the position of Reeve or this chick in Eastwood's film and this is all nothing more than a smokescreen to find some fault in the premise of the film.. I say "BOO HOO" to these Protestors.. Oh and before people around here start ragging on me about giving away too much or hinting at it from the movie?? All you have to do is click on this link Maverikk provided in that thread I made at "The Awards Forum" and they'll get the point of this so called "GUARDED SECRET" in this film.. Honest to God, I'm definitely not trying to spoil this film, but when I clicked on the link you put up Mav and read that article?? It pissed me off to no end and it's selfish of these people to keep someone alive like that when there clearly suffering and aren't in a position to feel what this person is going through, both in the movie and in real life.. Well?? Discuss..

Since BKB spoiled the ending, I understand you can't read the post. However, this post *does* discuss real life. Eh, it's hard to explain.

I thought the ending was very powerful, and the key reason for my love for the whole movie. Sure, the rest of the movie was great, as were the performances, but that ending sticks out as one of the best endings in recent memory.

I moved this thread because of the content. Although euthanasia is one of those issues, I suppose you meant in the context of the movie, esp. considering the title.

And, no, I don't mind the thread content. It's a fine idea - in fact - if you look a couple posts above you, you'll see that I'm trying to get this into the "ending discussion" since that's the kind of vibe I got from your first post.

The Water Cooler Forum based on the subject matter of, well you know??? The water cooler is meant to be flexible and loose. Whether its movies, music, tv, or games, if someone starts a thread there thats not a duplication and wishes it to relate it to something in real life, its okay.

and bkb, it helps even if its the first post of the thread to post all spoilers in white. specially if its the first post ... the amount of space you gave didn't do much in the way of hiding anything .. i picked up enough words from it to know what it might be about.

Also, if you have trouble with the mods, please try to argue in a respectable way (this goes for everyone, including mods). If its a really big problem, message me or go to 'The Site' section and complain.
