She had her chance to break out in the US with 2000's The Beach, which of course bombed. So, it's probably unlikely she'll ever cross over. Which is unfortunate for all of us here, but oh well. Anyways, this is the second French woman I've listed, and certainly not the last \:D/

I think the reason is that the film in general sucked; she's not even close to being at her best in The Beach. I;d say the images above are a better indication of her overall than the film was Atoddr
