You know, i'd be fine with hunting if one of two things happened: 1. Animals learned how to operate rifles and were allowed to possess them during hunting season. 2. People who hunt did so with their bare hands. |

It's sport? dictionary.com says: sport (n) - An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively. Now, does this sounds like hunting? Soccer is a sport. Basketball is a sport. Golf is... well, bad example. If you want to spend time with your dad, go to one of those hockey deals you canucks love so much. |

If you want to spend time with your dad, go to one of those hockey deals you canucks love so much. Yes it's sport. You're definition from dictionary.com does prove that hunting is a sport. There is a physical exertion and there's is a skill that is governed by a set of rules (there are shit load of rules about hunting) and it is sometimes competitive. And if I want to spend time with my dad, I'll gladly go hunting or fishing. Oh, is fishing wrong too? Screw the animal, screw the fish. |
