Do you have a home theatre? If so what does it look like with pictures or descriptions. Or post pictures of the nicest home theatres you have ever seen? |

Do we really need one of these "bragging" threads? I mean, obviously, the wealthy are going to flaunt what they've got, and everyone else will be satisfied with what they've got (mostly). Unless you're looking for a particular home theater system, is this really needed? lol. |

I love my TV. Its not really a home theater, but I love it all the same. It is a 27 inch Flat screen Sharp TV. My baby. And I like people flaunting, it helps me look for things I want to get ![]() |

I don't got a home theater system but I got a 47" tv in the family room. We got it 3 years ago. And I just got a 20" tv for my room. |

60" HD flat screen TV and two 20" secondary feed monitors (I keep one tuned to a newschannel almost all the time and its great for watching multiple bowl games during the holidays). 4-channel 10-speaker (hidden in the walls) system tied into a 400-watt A/V switcher, with DVD-R, VCR, Sirrius Satellite Radio, and DirecTV Satellite TV with two receivers. It's all in a basement theatre room with two overstuffed leather rocking recliners with two leather sofas behind them on a riser for unobstructed views. Popcorn machine in the back with a wet bar and fountain dispensed drinks. It cost me about $30,000 to build the whole thing. I wish. Actually I have a 6-year-old 27" Sharp stereo TV and a DVD/VCR combo. |

I'm thinking he never mentioned a receiver or seperate amp/pre-amp processor. Not to mention that anyone who has spent 30grand would most likely mention specific brands.... |

My current main system consists of: - 57" Widescreen HDTV - 6.1 DTS Surround Sound System - Xbox, PS2, GameCube - DVD-R Recorder - 5 Disc DVD Changer - Dish Network DVR I have more pictures somewhere, but here's an older one of my 100+ Xbox games that shows a little of my TV in the background, and one of my 3 gaming consoles... I'll get some better pics around soon. (And, no my Xbox games aren't always stacked like that, I did it for the picture. And I have about 20 more then I did when I took it). |

matatonio wrote: my goodness man, you have a butt load games ![]() I've been a hardcore gamer (ie, geek) since 1978. I own just about every gaming system known to mankind. But, to answer your question, yes I play every game I get. I complete roughly 70% of them. The other 30% end up sucking and I never finish them (usually all my EA games). There are also a small handfull of games that are my wife's that I rarely touch. I also have several PS2 and GameCube games, but not near as many as my Xbox games. There is nothing quite like an Xbox on a top of the line home theater set up. :afro: |

I have a laptop with an onboard TV tuner and DVD player/burner with a 17" screen. I subscribe to the "Swiss Army Knife" school of home entertainment. The comp is configured for home theatre speakers or a plasma monitor in case I ever need to upgrade. |

I prefer my computer... So I'm really expecting to get a nice flat HD LCD monitor this year... Something like Dell here, 20.1 inches screen (Just waiting for the price to drop down to $500-$550 during one of their sales events): ![]() |

More pics of my home entertainment crap... My DVD collection (roughly 1500 DVDs, give or take - I'm too lazy to count them). They're on 3 shelves and in desperate need of reorginaztion and more shelving. I have a few loaned out to family members, and the poor Matrix Ultimate edition sets all alone by itself.... My TV - a Hitachi 57" widescreen HDTV: My receiver - a Kenwood VR 6060, 6.1 (6 x100 W) Dolby Digital EX, DTS system: (not all DVDs use the 6th speaker, a rear center channel...) My Dish Network DVR (like Tivo), a Pioneer DVD-R recorder, and a Sony 5 disc DVD changer: There you go...my entire system minus the dog - who was too offended by the insults to appear (he's such a diva!). And, Snrub...you don't want to know where you have to plug in the controller to my 4th video game console! |

Wow Tony, You should really consider opening a DVD/game rental store... \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ And you could invest the rental income into buying something like 72-inch plasma... \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ |

I just happen to be flipping through the channels and stopped on Shop at Home network...They're running a good deal on an InFocus DLP projector HD and Draper 9' screen for only $1399.95. It is a good deal. I've got all I can do not to pull the old Visa out! http://www.shopathometv.com/shopathome/ ... &OID=64979 |
