I had all four of my wisdom taken out about 2 hours ago. It has taught me the join of Vicodin. In fact, up until today I could not swallow pills, heck I couldn't even swallow a mini M&M let alone an actual pill. Its amazing what immense pain will get you to overcome.

The worst part was I wanted to do general anesthesia, but they would not becuase I had asthma. So I did IV sedation, and I could hear everything. I was awake almost the whole time and I could feel parts of it. I got to keep 3 out of 4 of the teeth, the 4 one is just in pieces since the root grew in all crooked.

Ripper, that is why i refuse to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Its pretty much a sham anyways, IMO. They anticipate trouble by yanking those teeth out of every 20-25 year-olds mouth and most of the time it is unnessary. I hope the pain eases quickly. When my older sister had it done, they hit a root or something, it filled with blood and didn't heal over properly and she was starved and in pain for weeks.

Get well better. Don't eat m&m's just alot of ice cream shakes. :D

I'm going to go make you a peach, vanilla, honey shake for you right now...if I had a blender...if I had peaches, honey, and vanilla ice cream.

I remember having mine removed, all 4 impacted. I was so doped up afterwards I didnt know what was going on. 12 hr. later I felt like I was hit in the jaw with a bat.....Get ready for some pain tonight. Also I remember being told to expect possible tooth fragments to be coming out of the incisions for several weeks. Which did happen. The one side of my jaw was bothering me still about a month later, then during dinner one night(because I kept playing with my tounge against my gum) a piece of tooth the size of my pinky finger nail popped out.

The last time i had surgey was to remove my tonsils when I was 7. I had tonsilities from when I was like 3 till I was 7 almsot continually.

I was a very sickly child.
