Now I really didn't know whether to post this in the DVD Forum since I found this at Superherohype under a thread posting about the movie "Anacondas and the Hunt For The Blood Orchid" coming out on DVD or in this forum since there is a photo in this thread that shows in real life, a 50 foot Anaconda seen from an Aerial View with a head they estimate to be from 2-3 feet wide!! Just scroll down the page and it's the 5th post from the bottom of this thread at the link provided and see for yourself.. :shock:

Here's what it said:

Well I don't know how long the snake is in the movie but the photo below was taken by a Belguim helicopter pilot on patrol over the Congo. Estimated length of 40 to 50 feet, and the triangular head 2 by 3 feet!

Can someone post this pic?? Much appreciated.. It's not seeming to work for me at the moment..

That's a hell of a big snake. Well I actually saw Anacondas... opening night too (would've gone out and partied, but I had an injury of sorts forcing me to take it easy). I gotta say though, even as a dumb creature feature, it wasn't great. Too slow moving, not enough plasma or cool deaths, and they don't even have the snakes eat the two most annoying characters (the J-Lo-ish bitch, the token comic relief black guy).

That pic was taken 45 years ago, its probably dead now . . . And its probably a Python aswell. . .

I don't care where it was found.. This thing is huge considering your seeing this from an Aerial view that high up from a helicopter.. I remember seeing this same pic on a show on History or Discovery called "Arthur C. Clarkes Mysterious World".. Whether or not it's a Python or an Anaconda will never be known, but imagine running into this thing while on the ground and how emmense in size it would be at 1st looking at it?? :shock: You'd shit yourself seeing that..
