Let's ignore the fact that it's a minor holiday in the Jewish religion and the gift-giving aspect is just there in response to Christmas...

Anyways, what'd you get? And, what are you giving?

I'm giving the majority of my friends candy and a mix cd.

I got my mom the Beatles White Album. I got my dad "This is Spinal Tap - MGM Special Ed." (We have the Criterion Edition, it's all scratched up, and, I'm takin' it with me when I go to college anyways ;)) and "The Motorcycle Diaries" book. I got my brother "Bob Marley's Legend" and my sister "Clerks X" and I got her hubby "The Rum Diary" book.

Most of it's media, as you can see. And, my wallet is completely thin...I can't even afford a hundreth of a mile in an DC Taxi Cab. At the very least, these are gifts that were either wanted or were taken off of prior knowledge, not total speculation. ;)

I'm doing nothing, sigh, except for finishing up a finals. I know how to make killer latkes and suvganyot...if I had an oven, and didn't value my face and hair.
