Although you might get bored with your home, there's gotta be something entertaining that you can recommend people who visit the place. In this thread, just make a top ten list of places to go. If you can't think of ten, do five or one. Just think of something ![]() I live in the D.C. area...These are in no specific order... 1. The Uptown Movie Theater 2. The Corcoran Gallery of Art 3. Dupont Circle 4. The National Mall 5. Georgetown 6. Politics and Prose Bookstore 7. 9:30 Club 8. Kennedy Center Theatre 9. Take a ride around one of the four metro lines...with a friend. 10. Ben's Chili Bowl And there's that politics stuff. |

Is the Museum of Art in the Case area? If so, I've been there. I've been to the Hall of Fame numerous times, along with Tower City and Jacobs Field. No love for the great Beachwood Mall, eh? (I feel obliged to make a list with that in it, even though it's across the street from the place my grandfather died...I met Omar Vizquel in front of the Disney Store in Beachwood Mall ![]() Also, if you're a dem., and it's an election year, stop by the Cuyahogy Democratic Headquarters. Boring paper work that COULD make a difference. ![]() |

Post subject: | a second opinion on ROSS |
As a friend of Ross's..I must add the following note: Although he has mentioned some local places to visit in DC he has not done all of the above. If you live in the DC area and are available to spend time with Ross (my dearest newspaper friend) he would love to be taken to Ben's chilly bowl on a date following a day at the Uptown Movie Theater, a grueling long visit at the Corcoran Art Gallery (since he adores all types of artwork), an hour to read at least the 150 best colleges in the nation book at Politics and Pros Bookstors, and in the evening a Kennedy Center Ballet concert. PLUS: He would love to take you on a beach walk in the evening. So if your interested..Ross is your man. |
