Post subject:  I Hate Subways
Eat fresh whatever. Eat fresh and eat LITTLE!

I hate going there and everytime I'm forced to, I'm reminded why.

The stupid bread is huge but then, they go so freaking stingy on the steak. I ordered a 6 inch (what I normally do) and they put no more than 2 triangular slices of cheese and then just a bit of steak but then, fill it up with lettuce and crap. The whole is falling apart as you eat it though.

I really hate subways. Dagwoods (canadian) or Mr Sub anyday over Subways!!

As for the restaraunt, I personally like Subway for a quick meal sometimes. It is a little healthier than your normal fast food meal. The subways around here pile the toppings nice and high, and will put more cheese and meat on then what you described. Or, perhaps the Subway employees just like me more than they like you? Or, maybe everything is smaller in Canada? Or, perhaps the fact that you keep coming on to the Subway girl behind the counter is creeping her out, and she is giving you a hint?

Meh. I live in Quebec. We call them metros here.

Nah. All the other Sub places put a lot of meat and cheese ... freaking subways is always stingy.

BTW, those who think Subways is healthy, think again. Its not. There advertising is what you call, half truth.

Subway does suck power hard. Except for the veggie sub. Everything else, the people are a bit stingy about giving you more than one layer of cheese or meat. So it ends up tasting like a hunk of bread.

Maybe it's different here, but I don't find Subway all that stingy. Very filling, lots of chicken, along with everything else. Now, there's this other place just about a 5 minute walk from my place, that makes terrible subs. The bread to contents (meat, veggies) ratio is about 3 to 1. That sucks. My Subway contents to bread ratio is usually 2.5 to 1.
