I have done this a while ago at BOM, so why not here as well? ![]() Where do you usually get the news from? The internet? Newspapers? TV? Radio? Anywhere else? I have to admit that I mostly get my news on the net, hehe. I used to get them from TV, but recently because of the internet I watch less and less TV, so my #1 source for news would be the WorldWideWeb at the moment. The second spot would be a tie between newspapers and TV. What about you? |

I most commonly get my news from the internet, but I do occassionally get it from the television. I rarely ever get the news from the newspaper. I check out Yahoo News everyday, and its very up to date, and informative. So I'd say that is my #1 source for news. |

Newspapers (though more than half of what you read is biased rubbish), and the telly on the rare occasion that I watch nowadays! When I get on the net, it's just to relax and chat and have a good laugh! That's why most of the time I never get caught up in the more serious threads here, because I need to take a break from the reality of life! |

Most of my news? Newspapers and discussions with friends who wake up and have ten minutes to read a paper before their ride comes to drive them to school. |

Newspapers are first. - Also on tv, you have 2 types, the tv news and, at least in the US, political news talk & discussion shows which are pretty informative. - And with some weekly and monthly magazines, you get some good information. |

Hehe I usually have about ten minutes between waking up and being out of the house.... Like today. I woke up at 7:19 AM. My bus is leaving at 7:30 Am, so I have to be out of the house at 7:28 AM. So much for me reading anything before leaving the house ![]() |

Internet. I don't like TV news or radio news, and newspapers are usually too late, if the news is really "breaking". |

I think it goes without saying that most heavy internet users (which is most of us here) get most of their news off the internet. You can't hardly avoid news on the net, it's everywhere. It would be interesting to see a poll like this done without the internet as a choice. |
