Re: Turkey or Ham for Thanksgiving?....or hot wings?
Our Typical Menu
Turkey (My mom cooks it wrapped in Bacon, so fucking good) Salad Stuffing Hot Rolls Pearl Onions Green Salad Caserole or Green Beans Yams with Marshmellows (And a little fluff) Cranberry (Has to be canned) Mashed Potatoes (When I do them I cover them in cheese, bacon, scallions and a little sour cream)
Deserts vary (We do often times do pies, cream puffs (chilled of course), maybe donuts or raspberry crumb cake, and my mom makes a shit ton of pumpkin bread to give out, not a fan, but people say it's fantastic. Ham is for Christmas or Easter usually. Hot Wings, who knows probably could with one of the football games to start, but our dad starts the day off by making us Egg Sandwiches, and some kind of pastries. I've always wanted to try the Texas style of deep frying a turkey outside. This is usually the only time I'll eat Turkey all year though, I agree outside of this day I find it usually very dry.

There are very good restaurants here, but most of the cool stuff is at least an hour drive from where I live. Flagstaff lava tubes (an hour~), Kartchner Caverns (2 hours), Grand Canyon (2 hours~), Antelope Canyon (2 hours~).

Well 2 hour drive by American standards is like talking a walk down to the corner store here. An IMAX theatre anywhere maybe?

I lived about 5 minutes from my favorite IMAX 2 months ago... I now live about 45 minutes from it.

Re: Turkey or Ham for Thanksgiving?....or hot wings?
China is bigger than the US, and 45 minutes just to get to an IMAX cinema is too far. I live above a 3-screen cinema.

There are only two IMAX theatres playing regular films in Germany. The closest to me is in the Netherlands, 2 hours away...

Well, you've still got time to reconsider, given that I somewhat invited myself You should know, though, that I would go through with this, considering I have already visited several people from here.

David is much more welcoming. He will allow us to come any time of year. And we can just stay in a hotel. Together. In the same bed.

Umm, yeah, I think I'll stick with Arizona. Though I will need to find some other destination to combine it with.
