Yes BKB, I'm talking about your unhealthy White Noise obsession. Coming from someone who probably saw ROTK three times on the opening weekend Let me think. The last time I watched a movie repeatedly at the theater. I saw Anchorman 3 times over a span of a few days. Before that, I watched Episode II twice in a day, the midnight showing then a nooner in DLP. I did see ROTK at Trilogy Tuesday which ended up being 5 AM until 2 AM. But that's not quite the same. [-( \:D/ Talking about unhealthy
Thousands of people did the same thing. =;
Well, maybe making a costume was unhealthy.
But I ate throughout the day and got some exercise by reenacting scenes from the movies in the aisle.

Dr. Lecter wrote: So, Michael, what do you think of the Most Overseen Movie category? There are a couple that'd come to my head.
That's an interesting suggestion, but Most Overseen has the negative implication in it, and I like to keep this award about the best. what about the Best Movie Nobody Saw? We could set the qualification to be all films that never expanded over 300 theaters or less than $10M total gross, films like The Clearing and Machinist.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. The suggested rules for this categories are good too.

Yes, sorry, that is what I meant, my English's not perfect yet That's why my first suggestion also said Most Underrated I think it's a good idea to limit them to movies which made under $10-15 million or never expanded.

So here are the categories so far:
Best Picture
Best Director
Best Actor
Best Actress
Best Supporting Actor
Best Supporting Actress
Best Original Screenplay
Best Adapted Screenplay
Best Ensemble
Best Cinematography
Best Editing
Best Art Direction
Best Costume Design
Best Score
Best Sound
Best Song
Best Visual Effect
Best Makeup
Best Breakthrough Performance
Best Foreign Language Film
Best Animated Feature
Best Comedy
Best Horror
Best Sequal/Remake
Best Overlooked Film
Entertainer of the Year
26 categories total. I think this is enough, unless there are compelling arguments to add a specific category (or subtract one). Here are the rules for the nomination ballots:
1. Please write 5 nominees for each of the categories except for Animated Feature, Comedy, Horror, and Sequal/Remake, which you will write 3 nominees.
2. Please PM your ballots to Mav, xiayun, or matatonio by 9:00am, February 20. You can also email me at xiayun@sbcglobal.net.
3. You don't have to vote for all categories if you haven't seen enough films for a particular category (e.g. Foreign Film) or you want to save some time filling out the ballot. However, for the ones you vote, please write down the appropriate number of nominees (5 or 3), otherwise your vote for that category won't be counted.
Anything else to add?

Yeah, we will do that once there are no stones unturned, and we're ready to move into the next stage.

Everything looks good so far, but I would like to bump the final voting up to before the Oscars to avoid anybody being influenced by any of that when they vote.

I completely agree. I'd hate for this to just end up as a copy of the Oscars.

Can we include Best Soundtrack? I find it unfair, that movies like Garden State are mostly shut-out with categories like Best Score...
