You might not remember that because it has been a while ago, but the whole reason WHY we have this very thread is because of Foxx in Collateral. Back then, people blindly nominated him for Supporting because the Academy did so too and once he was nominated for Supporting, KJers realized how ridiculous it was and thus the categories clarification thread was born.

Re: WOKJ Motion Picture Awards 2014 categories clarification I know the comedy and horror categories are left completely open to voters' interpretations, but I just want to say I am considering Under the Skin a horror film, and I hope others do, too. To me, the horror label may fit this unique film more snugly than any other. Yes, she is an alien, but science fiction feels wrong. And simply describing it a "drama" seems inadequate and puny, too.

It does feel a bit strange to me to call Anne Hathaway a lead in Interstellar, but Blunt a supporting player in Edge of Tomorrow.
