In the promotion, there's glimpses of people in surgery. McSteamy crying in the hallway. "Someone will die." Brief glimpses of matatonio, harry713 and Corpse, then finally me sitting in a hospital bed, crying hard.
The Lateshow. 8EST/7CST. Mondays are a betch.

Directed by Brangelina His eyes darted from side to side, watching through the glass wall of his office the bustling crowd below. Doctors, patients, family members.. moving through the lobby of K.J. Grace Hospital, the most elite hospital in all of K.J. County. He is John Savage, Chief of Surgery (you know, the black guy in Grey's (wasn't he retiring like three seasons ago?)). A cell phone on his desk begins to ring, Savage reaching to pick it from the table.
John Savage: "Yes?"
He goes silent, listening to the person on the other side.
John Savage: "So it's done?"
Another silence.
John Savage: "Wonderful."
He hits the button on his cell phone to end the call and then speed dials another.
John Savage: "It's Savage. It's done. I'll get him when I can."
He hits the button again, but this time he tosses the cell phone on the desk. His beeper begins to, well, beep, Savage pulling it from his waist and staring at it. He smiles.

The doors to the emergency room at K.J. Grace Hospital fly open, two paramedics running in pushing a gurney, a young Filipino on it. Behind them another gurney. And behind them. And behind them. They run in a line, pushing the gurneys into the trauma center. Doctors and nurses run over and begin to attend to the injured. Some are, luckily, just a little wounded and cut. But others, others are more seriously damaged. McSteamy stares at the doctors and nurses as they crowd around Korrgan and move her from the gurney to a hospital bed, McSteamy's eyes widening as he sees the massive blood stain left behind on the gurney where her head used to be.
Doctor: "We need to stop the bleeding and get her into a scan. Page the Chief, now!"
John Savage: "I'm already here, Dr. valjean."
Dr. valjean: "Good of you to join us."
Savage stands by Korrgan's beside, watching the nurses work before he begins to look around the emergency room, and noticing how of its inhabitants have ash covered faces and clothes. He then notices the television in the corner near the roof, a live news broadcast covering the fire departments struggle to tame the fire at an apartment complex.
McSteamy: "She's gotta be alright, she's gotta be--Oh, oh, oh. She's pregnant. You have to help her and the baby. They both have to be alright."
John Savage: "We're going to try our very best to ensure that both of them are alright."
Meanwhile, on the other side of the E.R...
harry713: "God, I can't believe we just went through that."
A nurse was tending to harry713's minor wounds, having already bandaged Christian up. Christian had his right arm in a sling, with a patch on his forehead.
Christian: "Yeah.. they already took matatonio into surgery. It's that serious.."
harry713 saw the look on Christian's face, which really actually worried harry713. Not for matty's safety, like he gave a fuck. But about how Christian may still be in love with matty.
harry713: "He'll be alright. Don't you worry. He'll be back in that plastic surgery office with McSteamy before you know it."
But harry713's words didn't seem to help Christian's anxiety, harry713 leaning forward and reaching down to take Christian's hand on the bed.
harry713: "He'll be alright, okay?"
Dr. valjean: "SHE'S CRASHING!"
harry713 and Christian, and the other survivors of the KJ Place explosion in the E.R. (aka, extras!) looked towards Korrgan's bed as her blouse was ripped open, the paddles pressed to her chest. The shock went through her body, causing it to tense, before she fell back to the bed, the sound of her crashing continuing. They prepared to shock her once more, McSteamy standing nearby, very worried, holding his hand in a tight fist near his mouth.
They shocked her a second time, her body tensing once more. But this time, when she fell back to the bed, the sound of beeping began, everyone in the room beginning to twitter with happiness. Literally, they took out their cell phones and got on Twitter.
