Re: What would you name your baby? OJ, you know he's going to have endure a lot of OJ jokes, especially if OJ goes away for the Vegas thing.
My mom was into very white sounding names when she was pregnant with me, I was supposed to be Courtney ( thank god I am not).

Re: What would you name your baby? By the time he is 10, the oj simpson story will be 25 years old. He will be fine. Hell OJ Mayo has the same name and went to the same school as oj simpson and noone mentions it.

Re: What would you name your baby? You're fooling yourself if you don't think that people will still equate "OJ" with OJ Simpson 10 years from now. Really... there are plenty of good names out there, don't saddle him with "OJ"!
If I have a boy, I'm naming him Buford.

Re: What would you name your baby? His name is not going to OJ. My wife insists a boys middle name be her Fathers (James) and the names were Marcus and Orlando. My top boy names were Jabari and Tayshon but my wife said no way. As of right now, Orlandos it.

My challenge is in finding a name that doesn't sound phonetically awkward with a two-letter last name. At least my wife wouldn't have to do deal with that. I'm a man-feminist and want my wife to keep her surname.

I actually like my last name, it goes well with my first name, and since I am getting my PhD before I get married, I don't intend to change my name. If I have kids I may hyphenate it, its wierd having to explain which kid is yours, no kids no name change at all.
